In collaboration with the 6th Nordic Conference in Nursing Research
To recognise outstanding scientific nursing studies written by nursing researchers’ the Nordic Nursing Research is running a Science Writing Competition and invite you to submit your best paper.
We are looking for excellent academic, original work with a powerful nursing voice. The competition is open to all international entries however; the paper must provide high quality knowledge on clinical and theoretical research on nursing relevant for the Nordic countries and context, coherent with our journal scope.
All submitted papers must be written in clear and concise English, not extent 5000 words, and not have been published previously. The author guidelines must be followed carefully. A scientific committee appointed within the Editorial Board to ensure scientific accuracy and accessibility to an interested nursing audience will judge all papers submitted for the competition.
To enter your paper to the Science Writing Competition you simply submit your manuscript to Nordic Nursing Research and state in the Cover Letter, that it is part of the Science Writing Competition.
All articles submitted and accepted for publication in 2024 and September 1st the latest, will be included in the Science Writing Competition.
The winning article will be announced at the 6th Nordic Conference in Nursing Research in Stockholm 2024 and will be published in Nordic Nursing Research. The authors of the winning article will receive a monetary award at the conference.
